The PRN Physical Therapist (PT) position at Lifepoint Rehabilitation involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role focuses on evaluating patients' conditions, developing treatment plans, and facilitating their recovery process. The therapist will also instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs to ensure continued progress, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's condition and develop a treatment plan.
• Help patients improve their condition day by day.
• Instruct nursing staff and patient's families on follow-through programs.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and team members.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
