About the position
The PRN Physical Therapist at Wilton Manors Health and Rehabilitation Center is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing physical therapy programs in accordance with regulatory guidelines. This role involves collaboration with medical and nursing staff to ensure high standards of care and effective discharge planning for residents.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Facility's physical therapy programs and activities.
- Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff, and other related departments to plan therapy services.
- Represent the Facility at meetings as directed.
- Maintain physical therapy standards of practice.
- Standardize methods for delivering physical therapy services.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate policies, procedures, and resident care plans.
- Review and update physical therapy policies and procedures annually.
- Interpret physical therapy policies and procedures to staff, residents, and family members.
- Participate in discharge planning and resident assessments.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a quality assurance program for physical therapy services.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in physical therapy
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
