The PRN Recreational Therapist Associate at WellBridge Healthcare plays a vital role in providing recreational and activity services to patients in a behavioral health setting. Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide recreational and activity services to patients.
• Plan, organize, and direct approved recreation programs including sports, dramatics, games, and arts and crafts.
• Assist patients in developing interpersonal relationships and social skills needed for group activities.
• Support patients in building confidence to participate in recreational activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a psychiatric health care facility, preferably with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
• Current unencumbered certification/license/registration preferred.
• CPR certification and non-violent crisis intervention training certified within 30 days of employment.
