About the position
The Clinic RN is responsible for coordinating outpatient clinic patient care and education under the supervision of the Clinic Administrator and Office Manager. This role involves managing patient care based on the clinic's appointment schedule and staffing needs, with a commitment to professional conduct and adherence to clinic policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate outpatient clinic patient care and education using the nursing process.
- Document total clinic patient care given and maintain patient charts per clinic policy.
- Assist with the orientation and preceptorship of nursing, technical, and clerical personnel assigned to the clinic.
- Review and ensure accurate and timely entry of patient data, orders, and charges into the computer system.
- Work collaboratively with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Attend and arrange yearly mandatory education sessions as required.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week based on clinic needs.
- Willingness to float to other clinics as needed.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work professionally with a diverse group of individuals.
