Meadow Park Care in St. Helens, OR is seeking a dedicated PRN Speech Therapist to join our exceptional team. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families about the treatment programs, ensuring they are fully informed and engaged in the process. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes. You will also work with patients to enhance their reading and writing skills, as well as assist them in improving their pronunciation and overall communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Build a treatment program for diagnosed disorders.
  • Provide training and education to patients and their families on treatment programs.
  • Collaborate professionally with various disciplines to ensure proper patient treatment.
  • Assist patients in improving their reading and writing abilities.
  • Guide patients in pronunciation and enhancing their voice and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid OR SLP license in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.
