Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds and ostomies.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions for wound care and ostomy management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding wound care management and ostomy care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
