About the position

The Pro Account Executive (PAE) at Leslie's Pool Supplies is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales and gross margin objectives within a designated area and customer segment. This role focuses on building strong relationships with external customers, such as pool professionals and commercial accounts, as well as internal teams. The PAE leads trade and commercial programs, collaborates with various departments, and ensures customer satisfaction through effective territory management and execution of company initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and surpass all sales and gross margin objectives within their designated area and customer segment
  • Grow market through new customer acquisition and existing customer development
  • Strategically target and grow a large volume of trade and commercial customers
  • Manage and grow the Pro Partner Program within their designated area, including interviewing, enrolling, tracking, and meeting with store teams and customers
  • Work closely with District Managers, CSC teams, and Retail store teams to ensure customer expectations are communicated and administered
  • Territory management of both internal and external customers, including frequency of customer interactions and overall customer experience
  • Execution of all Leslie's programs, initiatives, and objectives
  • Responsible for all Loss Prevention procedures
  • Assist with the development of marketing plans, pricing, and strategies
  • Conform to all Leslie's standards for attendance, security, and professionalism

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience in sales, customer service, direct marketing, pool trade, pool supply chemicals, supply chain and/or distribution preferred
  • Previous experience in using data to enrich customer experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong sound judgment
  • Valid driver's license
