About the position

The Onboarding Specialist at Lighting New York plays a crucial role in guiding new trade customers through their initial experiences with the company. This remote position involves vetting and onboarding new PRO accounts, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and support as they begin their journey with Lighting New York. The specialist will engage in outbound activities to connect with prospective pros and assist in the sales process, ultimately positioning new customers for success.

Responsibilities

  • Own the LNY Pro Welcome Process, from the first customer touch through the Pro's first purchase
  • Align new Pros with appropriate resources as needed, including transfer to the Pro Account Manager, Sales Manager, or other internal teams
  • Support the Pro team with new customer acquisition activities and prospecting, including phone, email, and SMS outreach
  • Monitor new Pro feedback and assess opportunities to improve the overall LNY experience
  • Follow up with new Pro customers to seek endorsements, testimonials, and referrals
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in the Professional Program

Requirements

  • 2+ years proven experience in B2B customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Google Suite and CRM software
  • A passion for building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • A positive, enthusiastic and infectious attitude
