About the position

The Pro Shop Associate plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to members and guests at the golf shop. This position involves managing check-ins, merchandise displays, and maintaining the shop's organization while assisting with tournament operations and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in the golf shop.
• Ensure proper member and guest check-in and fee collection.
• Keep the Pro Shop in a neat and orderly condition.
• Assist in the pricing of merchandise and inventory control.
• Follow daily opening and closing procedures in an orderly manner.
• Answer telephones.
• Assist with tournament operations as needed.
• Assist with receiving and displaying new merchandise and shop displays.
• Provide exceptional service to members and guests on a daily basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility with schedule, including evening and weekend work required.
• Knowledge of golf highly preferred.
