We are seeking a dedicated probate paralegal to join our legal team at The Florida Probate & Family Law Firm. In this role, you will assist in preparing legal documents, filing motions, coordinating meetings, and conducting legal research. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly organized professional with a keen attention to detail. You will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service during their legal proceedings. As a probate paralegal, your responsibilities will include coordinating law office activities, drafting subpoenas, and working closely with process servers. You will draft various legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence, including interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits under the guidance of a lawyer. Conducting interviews with clients to gather pertinent information about their legal issues will also be a key part of your role. You will aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing our case filing systems to ensure that all documents are properly sorted and easily accessible. Your role will also involve assisting with the administration and litigation of probate estates, including drafting and filing probate pleadings, preparing and filing court forms, and managing the probate process from start to finish. You will work with clients to gather and organize necessary documents for probate administration and estate planning, as well as prepare estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Communication with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in probate administration and estate planning matters will be essential, as will managing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accurate and complete records.
