About the position

The Probate Paralegal position at our busy law firm, with locations in Los Angeles and Valencia, is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to assist our attorneys in managing probate matters in Southern California. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support during the probate process. As a Probate Paralegal, you will be involved in various tasks that are critical to the successful handling of probate cases. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough legal research to support our attorneys, drafting and preparing legal documents, and managing the filing of court forms. You will also be responsible for maintaining organized case files and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. In addition to these tasks, effective communication with clients is a key component of this role. You will be expected to manage client relationships, providing updates and answering any questions they may have regarding their cases. The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, as these attributes are vital in navigating the complexities of probate procedures. A strong understanding of the legal landscape in Southern California is essential, as it will enable you to provide informed support to our attorneys and clients alike. While a paralegal certificate is preferred, it is not a strict requirement for this position. However, proficiency in Judicial Council Forms for decedent estates and familiarity with probate court procedures are necessary skills for success in this role. Additionally, being bi-lingual is considered a plus, as it can enhance communication with a diverse client base. This position requires both remote and in-office work, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.
