As a Probate Paralegal at CyberCoders, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their probate and estate planning needs. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting client interviews to gather essential information and understanding their specific goals related to probate and estate planning. You will be expected to respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring they are kept informed about the progress of their cases. Your role will also involve preparing clear and concise explanations of legal processes to help clients navigate their situations effectively. In addition to client interaction, you will assist in drafting and reviewing important legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. Conducting legal research to ensure compliance with state and federal laws will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will prepare and file necessary probate court petitions, locate and inventory all estate assets, and value these assets to determine applicable taxes. Managing creditor claims and settling debts will also fall under your purview, as well as distributing assets to beneficiaries according to the will or intestacy laws. Furthermore, you will assist the corporate law team with drafting and reviewing contracts, business formation documents, and other transaction-related documents.
