About the position

An established elder law firm in Central Florida is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented probate paralegal to join our team in downtown Orlando. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000 per year. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker, a team player, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. The role requires proficiency in various paralegal duties, including analyzing and organizing research and information, researching statutes, case law, and administrative orders, and preparing comprehensive written reports. The probate paralegal will be responsible for performing records searches and drafting all necessary legal documents for Summary Administration, Ancillary Administration, and Formal Administration. Attention to detail is crucial, as the candidate will need excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all documentation. Additionally, the paralegal will track and organize files, calendar deadlines for cases, and follow up with clients to ensure timely progress. Scheduling hearings and effectively interacting with attorneys, clients, clerks, judicial assistants, and other professionals are also key components of this role. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities, are essential for success in this position. Previous probate experience is preferred, as it will enhance the candidate's ability to navigate the complexities of probate law and provide exceptional support to our legal team.
