About the position

The Procedural Operations Manager at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's is responsible for overseeing and managing all Supply Chain activities within the procedural areas, ensuring efficient operations and optimal inventory management. This role involves direct supervision of supply chain technicians, maintaining inventory systems, and collaborating with clinical staff and vendors to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, implement, measure, and direct all Supply Chain related activities in all Procedural Areas.
  • Clean up and maintain O.R. PAR locations and other master files in the POU and SMART system.
  • Manage the OR Supply Chain Technicians and O.R. Internal Control Coordinator.
  • Prepare schedules for onsite O.R. Supply Chain Operations.
  • Oversee daily Supply Chain Operations within the O.R., including requisitioning, inventory, and delivery of all O.R. supplies.
  • Implement and manage the O.R. perpetual inventory system (POU) for supply optimization.
  • Manage the implementation, cleanup, and optimization of O.R. Meditech Supply Inventory dictionary and Supply Inventory on Physician Preference cards.
  • Supervise case picking of supplies and collaborate with O.R. clinical staff.
  • Act as the point of contact for sales representatives and overall vendor management in O.R. and Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology.
  • Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders including O.R. Director, CV Director, Radiology Director, and clinical staff.
  • Transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media, and drug-containing devices as authorized.
  • Procure specialty items for the O.R., including implants where applicable.
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of the perpetual inventory system (POU) to ensure accurate replenishment and patient charge transactions.
  • Supervise the on-site processing and inventory availability of all supply orders and stocking locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Three years of leadership experience preferred and/or AD program graduate preferred.
  • Experience with Meditech.
