About the position

As a Procedural Registered Nurse at Baylor Scott & White Health, you will oversee patient care by utilizing the nursing practice model. Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prioritize their needs.
• Create and adjust care plans for better patient outcomes.
• Regularly assess patient responses and nursing practices.
• Track quality indicators and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Teach patients and staff as part of integrated care.
• Utilize systems thinking to solve problems for patients, families, and staff.
• Contribute to decision-making and recognize contributions of others.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• 2+ years of experience as a RN in ED, Critical Care/ICU, OR, or Procedural areas
• Registered Nurse RN, active license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Telemetry test required upon hire

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with departmental policies
• Experience in GI/Endo procedures
