About the position

The Procedure Development Representative (Sales) for Lung Health at Medtronic is responsible for driving the growth and utilization of the Medtronic Lung Health portfolio. This role focuses on program development, procedural sales, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to enhance lung cancer diagnosis and treatment. The representative will work closely with various stakeholders to expand the commercialization of innovative medical technologies, ensuring clinicians have the necessary support and resources to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Increase utilization of ILLUMISITE™ procedures in the peripheral lung biopsy market.
  • Expand commercialization efforts of ILLUMISITE™ with Pulmonary & Thoracic Surgery proceduralists.
  • Collaborate with District Manager, Strategic Program Executive, and clinical Education Specialists to develop lung health programs.
  • Provide educational support to physicians and staff as needed.
  • Execute implementation plans in new accounts, setting customer expectations and supporting multidisciplinary lung nodule programs.
  • Lead clinical and technical discussions during the sales process.
  • Organize procedural and business review meetings with hospital administration and physicians.
  • Build a territory business plan identifying opportunities and referral development plans.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and objectives.
  • Adhere to Medtronic policies regarding expenses and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3 years of relevant experience for Specialist level; 5 years for Senior Specialist level.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3 years of documented outside sales success in a competitive environment, preferably with tangible products.
  • Previous medical sales experience with evidence of top sales achievement.
  • Significant procedural experience, preferably in an operating room environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Windows Office Products.
  • Ability to develop and present complex business reviews and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills.
