About the position

The Process and Command Media Documentation Engineer at L3Harris is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and harmonization of Operations Command Media across various sites. This role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality, and requires effective communication with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and processes in line with L3Harris standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Operations Command Media documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Review Operations command media for accuracy against L3Harris processes and relevant standards.
• Incorporate updates to documentation through the signoff process and manage databases.
• Foster continuous improvement by harmonizing Manufacturing command media across sites.
• Support training and certification upkeep for relevant processes.
• Improve chemical manufacturing processes and update associated command media.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 7 years of experience, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in reviewing, creating, and maintaining processes and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of company Environmental Health & Safety practices.
• Lean certification or knowledge of Lean Tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with electro-mechanical, Microelectronics, cables, SMT, and materials manufacturing.
• Familiarity with electronics standards (IPC, J-STD, MIL-STD).
• Experience presenting to Senior Management and influencing at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Self-directed with the ability to prioritize tasks.
