About the position

The Process and Product Engineer at Oetiker NY, Inc. is responsible for supporting the evaluation, validation, and documentation of new and existing manufacturing processes. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, developing process documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation, validation, and documentation of new and existing processes.
• Responsible for released machines, tools, and processes.
• Provide process documentation including work instructions, box counts, and operator training documents.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potential changes in production methods.
• Drive continuous improvement of existing processes to reduce waste.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Experience with automated machinery.
• Analytical skills to solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience with PFMEA, PFD, and control plans.
