About the position

The Process and Training Analyst at Micro in Waconia, MN, is responsible for analyzing and optimizing business processes across various departments. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to document existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements. The analyst will also create training materials and support onboarding initiatives, ensuring that processes are well-documented and easily understood by all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and analyze existing processes and procedures.
  • Analyze and document internal business, customer-facing, and manufacturing processes.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various process workflows, identifying obstacles and recommending solutions.
  • Utilize CRM/ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, for researching and improving processes.
  • Develop comprehensive process maps, flowcharts, and procedural manuals.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office to produce documentation.
  • Create and edit video tutorials for training and onboarding initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity.
  • Support process-related project initiatives and track milestones.
  • Conduct testing of workflows and systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Analyze and prepare detailed information related to business processes.
  • Gather, review, and interpret business data to provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related field.
  • Strong technology skills including experience with CRM/ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in process analysis, documentation, and optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in process mapping and flowcharting tools.
  • Experience in creating training materials and delivering training sessions.
  • Project management skills and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
