About the position

KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, and this position is focused on delivering and implementing process solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements. The primary location for this role is in the Northeast United States, where the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of customer-specific processes on systems and testing compliance with agreed process specifications. This includes process transfer, which is critical for ensuring that the equipment delivered to customers meets their quality standards. The role requires on-site attendance for process installation acceptance, process development, and process update meetings, along with providing remote support for customers. Collaboration with internal SPTS groups is essential to ensure proper process transfer and to report any issues that arise. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with the sales team to explore new applications and potential future tool sales. Presentations for all onsite projects will be required, including executive reviews and deeper summaries, where proactive problem-solving is expected. The position also involves in-depth compilation and analysis of complex data with multiple variables, and developing familiarity with necessary process modules and endpoint capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels within the company and demonstrate flexibility and motivation with a hands-on approach. The ability to work as part of a small team or independently under tight deadlines is crucial, as is the willingness to travel to customer sites or abroad on short notice.
