About the position

The Process Associate, Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Genpact involves researching and qualifying leads, booking meetings, and facilitating the sales process by handing over qualified leads to the Account Manager or sales team. This position is crucial for expanding the sales pipeline through proactive outreach and effective communication with potential customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to qualify new leads, book meetings and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Use various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking to reach out to potential customers.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls with leads/prospects to assess their suitability and interest in the company's products or services and book meetings for Account Managers.
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly meeting booking targets set by Team Lead and perform other peripheral admin activities as required.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to transfer qualified leads and provide them with relevant information and context for follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and customer information in the CRM system.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in outbound customer support operations including sales, business development, and customer relationship roles.
  • Demonstrated experience of working comfortably with target-driven outcomes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with prospects.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand customer pain points and tailor messaging accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A positive and resilient attitude with the ability to handle rejection and objections.
