About the position

As a Process/Chemical Engineer Intern at Black & Veatch, you will play a crucial role in developing process solutions and performing treatment evaluations for various projects related to Gas, Fuels, and Chemicals. Responsibilities

  • Develop process solutions for water quality treatment problems.
  • Perform treatment evaluations for Gas, Fuels, and Chemicals projects.
  • Develop designs for facility enhancements.
  • Provide technical assistance on various engineering projects.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an ABET accredited university in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering program.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Biological Systems Engineering.
  • Strong background in environmental water, chemical, or biological processes and engineering systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or knowledge in Drinking Water, Wastewater, Industrial, or Gas, Fuels and Chemicals preferred.
  • Knowledge of water or wastewater treatment process engineering principles or process modeling software.
  • Technical skills in leadership, collaboration, communication, and teamwork.
