About the position

The Process Control Engineer at Global Search Network is responsible for providing technical leadership and engineering support to packaging operations. This role involves overseeing projects related to packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee packaging equipment projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC programs for packaging equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to production and maintenance teams on packaging equipment and processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including GMP and HACCP standards.
• Develop and deliver training programs on packaging equipment, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements to employees.
• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with all levels of the organization, including management, production staff, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in a technical or maintenance role, preferably in a packaging or manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley) and packaging equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Certifications or licenses related to maintenance, such as PE, ASME welding, or wastewater.
• Experience with packaging equipment design or development.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
