The Process Controls Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of production processes at a family-owned food manufacturing facility. This position involves programming and maintaining PLC systems, troubleshooting control systems, and collaborating with various departments to integrate new equipment. Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and maintain Allen Bradley PLC systems to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate process control systems with existing and new equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with control systems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all control system modifications, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in PLC programming and process control, specifically with Allen Bradley systems.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize control systems.
- Willingness to work multiple shifts as required by the expanding operations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
