About the position

The Process Engineer I will provide essential engineering support focused on product and process development, troubleshooting, and improving cost efficiency, product quality, and cycle times. This role involves investigating and proposing new production equipment and methods to enhance existing processes, as well as collaborating with Product Development to complete necessary documentation for new products.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support in product and process development.
• Troubleshoot existing equipment and processes, recommending and implementing solutions.
• Investigate and propose new production procedures and methods to automate and improve processes.
• Complete General Process Change control documents for assigned production processes.
• Determine critical process metrics for regular monitoring.
• Work with Quality Engineering to develop and implement Statistical Process Controls.
• Act as the 8D champion for complaint resolution, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Green Belt/Black Belt experience is a plus.
