The Process Engineer II at Saint-Gobain plays a crucial role in providing technical support for production processes, ensuring that products meet quality specifications through effective process control methods. In this role, the engineer will analyze process variations, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions using advanced statistical tools to identify and resolve root causes of variations in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include designing and developing new process systems, revising existing processes, and coordinating the implementation of projects that significantly contribute to plant profitability. The engineer will also interact with teams for operational troubleshooting, process improvement projects, and ensuring the availability of production materials and raw materials. This position reports directly to the Hot End Manager, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and communication within the team to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
