The Process Engineer III will be responsible for providing process engineering and controls support, focusing on the development of new processes and the optimization of existing ones. This role involves researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating process costs, quality, and capability alternatives, and performing process characterization and optimization through designed experiments and problem-solving tools. In this role, the Process Engineer III will design comprehensive engineering activities aimed at developing and implementing effective, high-quality processes and design guidelines for dissemination throughout the division. The engineer will provide complex design reviews and feedback to improve manufacturability and facilitate technology transfer from process development to commercial-sale processes for new product introductions. This includes leading and coordinating all activities for modifications of existing processes, preparing process development protocols, and ensuring their execution. The Process Engineer III will also lead cross-functional teams to design and install multi-million-dollar capital projects, focusing on new and upgraded projects throughout the facility, which may include packaging, manufacturing, and facilities equipment. Acting as a liaison with Engineering and Business Units, the engineer will ensure that projects conform to governmental and regulatory agency requirements, administer all projects according to the Capital Review Process, and generate cost reduction ideas while maintaining accurate accounting of purchasing and commitments for each project. Additionally, the engineer will prepare process validation protocols, coordinate their execution, and support equipment installation qualification activities for new equipment. The role requires the conception, development, and implementation of equipment, tooling, and processes to improve efficiencies, increase productivity, and enhance quality while adhering to all regulatory requirements and Kenvue's safety and environmental standards.
