Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of process or controls tools to enable better process execution, diagnostic, operation management, or other important plant challenges
  • Document the results of the work by the end of the summer and give a final presentation of project outputs
  • Learn new techniques and methods as needed to support the project objectives
  • Assist in the design of experiments, communicate observations, perform related measurements, collect, and summarize data
  • Work with scientists, engineers, and technicians to plan and carry out required experiments to advance progress against project objectives
  • Develop and deliver data management tools or systems or improvements
  • Meet all Environmental, Safety and Health requirements
  • Follows proper electrical safety procedures

Requirements

  • Rising Junior or Senior majoring in an engineering field focused on processing or mechanical system development (ChE, ME, or similar)
  • At least one semester of core technical course work completed
  • Ability to build relationships and interact with a cross functional team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information
  • Position is fully on-site
