About the position

Medline is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to enhance our manufacturing operations. This role focuses on utilizing engineering and lean methodologies to analyze operational bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and design effective solutions with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, re-design, and manage change processes including modifications to formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards.
  • Identify complex technical issues or operational bottlenecks, determine root causes, and recommend and implement improvements using statistical methods.
  • Review change requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules, and plan the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
  • Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology target specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, site leadership, and continuous improvement teams to support process adherence and accommodate identified opportunities.
  • Support long-term continuous improvement projects using analysis techniques such as fishbone, 5 why, DMAIC, RCA, and statistical analysis.
  • Develop a sequence of operations, estimate time requirements, and prepare operation sheets, including support for labor and warehouse management systems.
  • Partner with the engineering team and local leadership to develop SOPs for training and documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related role.
  • Experience with equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Certification in Lean Training, Six Sigma Training, or proficiency in Tableau or other statistical analysis packages.
