About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer with experience in the plastics industry to join our team. As a Process Engineer in our company, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing plastic molding processes to improve product quality, efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of injection molding techniques, as well as a thorough knowledge of quality standards and lean manufacturing principles. In this role, you will develop and improve plastic molding processes to meet quality standards and production goals. You will conduct process validation studies and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes effectively. You will also provide technical support and guidance to the production team, including training for injection molding technicians. Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and participating in quality audits will be part of your responsibilities. You will monitor and analyze production data to identify potential process improvements and implement lean manufacturing techniques to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Additionally, you will work closely with suppliers to select and evaluate raw materials for optimal performance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Process Engineer in the plastics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of plastic molding processes and techniques, including injection molding.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, including ISO 9001.
  • Experience with mold design and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing them.
