About the position
The Process Engineer Senior role at Acuity Brands involves the development, implementation, and improvement of processes to ensure efficient operation of production lines. The position focuses on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and maintaining safety standards while reducing waste and defects in manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and updating assigned KPIs, implementing actions to keep them within target.
- Maintaining product traceability throughout the process.
- Implementing actions to contribute to scrap reduction.
- Participating in maintaining the area within goals for the 5S metric.
- Implementing actions to reduce actual defects identified by the Electrical Test Engineer.
- Generating and/or updating process documentation (visual aids/parameter sheets/process deviations/standard work documentation).
- Participating in Kaizen events.
Requirements
- Completed professional degree, preferably in Engineering.
- At least 3 years in similar positions, preferably in painting processes.
- Conversational English.
