About the position

The Process Engineer/Technical Procedure Writer will play a crucial role in the financial industry by identifying and implementing process improvements, documenting processes, procedures, and work instructions related to vulnerability remediation. This position is a contract role that requires a blend of technical writing and process engineering skills to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement process improvements, including engineering new processes and re-engineering existing processes.
  • Document processes, procedures, and work instructions related to vulnerability remediation procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience with Process Analysis, Process Engineering, & Process Improvement efforts.
  • Experience with process automation, workflow, and automation tools.
  • Ability to write clear and concise procedure and workflow instructions, manuals, and job aides.
  • Ability to compile procedural instructions from Technical SMEs in verbal or written format and translate into clear and well-defined instructions and procedure artifacts.
  • Investigative mindset - ability to capture independent pieces of information, link them together and re-present them in simple and digestible format.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Server Vulnerabilities / Cloud Admin / System Admin (Win/Linux) / Vulnerability Management.
  • Basic understanding of Application & Server Architecture.
  • Prior experience in Confluence and JIRA to document content and retain knowledge artifacts.
  • Experience with Confluence, ServiceNow and vulnerability management.
