About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join the COO Process Engineering team. The role focuses on analyzing and optimizing Financial Services COO Operations processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Key responsibilities include process design, troubleshooting, optimization, analysis, documentation, and automation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Complete integrated process analyses to identify procedural and control deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Work on complex problems involving process segments to identify risks, impacts, and opportunities.
  • Consult with leaders to understand, adapt research, and create alternatives for consideration.
  • Effectively communicate relevant information to business partners and leadership.
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Interact with internal customers.
  • Document business processes identifying risks and associated controls.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) software such as iGrafx.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or ability to acquire certification post hire.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizational levels.
  • Highly refined verbal and written communications skills.
  • Adaptable learner with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to read complex customer situations.
