About the position

The Process Engineer will be responsible for investigating product malfunctions during assembly and testing, recommending corrective actions, and conducting production engineering studies to ensure quality and efficiency. This role involves monitoring process data, leading validation activities, and implementing process control measures to enhance manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate product malfunctions during assembly and testing and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct production engineering studies to ensure producibility and quality of assigned items.
• Participate in meetings regarding process and production engineering matters.
• Monitor and analyze process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for continuous improvement.
• Conduct detailed analysis of existing manufacturing processes and recommend improvements.
• Implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
• Lead process validation activities, including protocol development and documentation.
• Perform various engineering duties related to product and production engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent education and experience.
• One year of specialized experience in engineering, including leading project teams and managing requirements.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices, particularly in manufacturing processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
