About the position

The Process Engineer at Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is responsible for providing process optimization and engineering support for the Mill. This role focuses on compliance process coordination, lean projects, quality assurance, product safety, and analytical systems support, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Provide process optimization and engineering support for the Mill.
• Coordinate compliance process efforts and lean projects.
• Ensure product safety and quality standards are met.
• Conduct data analysis projects to inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain methods for tracking and reducing operational costs.
• Collaborate with outside resources to improve operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 0-3 years of experience in process engineering or production in the paper industry.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems.
