About the position

As a Process Engineer at Dart Container, you will apply your engineering knowledge and skills to manage moderately complex engineering projects aimed at creating or improving process control systems and procedures. This role encompasses the entire manufacturing process, starting from the raw material phase through to the final product. You will be responsible for ensuring that all processes comply with safety regulations and quality standards, while also meeting the company's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements. In your day-to-day role, you will commit to following practices and processes that ensure the production of safe products. You will manage, prioritize, and complete projects of moderate to large size, coordinating your work with other engineers, technicians, and designers. Leading discussions on process failures, conducting audits, and performing investigations will be key responsibilities to ensure consistency across all facilities. You will also conduct feasibility studies for various manufacturing processes and assist technicians in diagnosing issues with process equipment. Your role will involve troubleshooting and analyzing engineering problems, proposing and implementing solutions, and documenting these processes. You will develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment processes and collaborate with production personnel to gather information for reports aimed at improving equipment, processes, and products. Additionally, you will create test parameters and participate in testing and data analysis to implement effective engineering solutions. Establishing continuous improvement plans will be essential to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and service within the organization.
