About the position

The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of quality pet food. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing techniques, and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Analyze and optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process changes.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen.
• Analyze process data to identify root causes of problems and develop solutions.
• Monitor and measure process performance to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Select, procure, and install new manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and implement equipment maintenance and calibration procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot processes and equipment problems.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and implement safety procedures and training programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytic, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
