About the position

The Process Engineer will work under the direction of the Plant Manager to plan and coordinate the technical design and engineering implementation of project work. This role requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing processes of electronic devices, particularly focusing on the potting process. The engineer will be responsible for the installation, qualification, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of process machinery. A key aspect of the role is to manage and refine the specific potting process to achieve optimal performance, ensuring that equipment metrics such as Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and Process Capability Index (CPK) are maintained within desired performance levels. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Process Engineer will support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and ensure that defined program milestones are met. This includes providing training to technicians and technical operators, documenting and developing process/user requirements, and conducting gap analyses on process yield tracking to identify and implement improvements. The role also involves managing process-related spare parts control and ensuring that all activities align with the organization's quality and performance standards.
