About the position

The Process Engineer at Berry Global is responsible for providing engineering support to various departments, particularly the Molding and Maintenance departments. This role involves managing multiple projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and safety standards, and driving efficiency metrics. The position emphasizes a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company rules as well as GMP's and Safety Absolutes.
• Provide processing support to Molding department.
• Provide engineering support to Maintenance Department and Building & Systems.
• Provide engineering support for upgrades, replacements, equipment, and construction projects.
• Manage and work on various projects as assigned by Molding Manager.
• Manage cost saving projects.
• Oversee work to ensure projects are completed within budget, time restraints and meet safety standards.
• Drive department EFF numbers to meet goal of 105% via cycle times and cavitation.
• Review daily reports for correctness.
• Hold department meetings with technical staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Leadership abilities.
• Organizational Skills including Computer Skills.
• Ability to work on many projects at the same time.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Lead person, Group Lead, or equivalent experience required.
