About the position

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer with the proven ability to oversee and optimize injection molding processes and ensure maximum performance and quality from production. Key responsibilities include sampling new molds, evaluating performance, making necessary recommendations, preparing production reports and quotes, and ensuring cost-effective production activities are in line with quality standards to enhance profitability. Additionally, the role involves reviewing part and tool designs, managing robotic programs, providing technical support on the production floor, and spearheading new projects. Candidates MUST HAVE a bachelor's degree in engineering with plastic injection molding experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize injection molding processes.
• Sample new molds and evaluate their performance.
• Make necessary recommendations for process improvements.
• Prepare production reports and quotes.
• Ensure cost-effective production activities align with quality standards.
• Review part and tool designs.
• Manage robotic programs.
• Provide technical support on the production floor.
• Spearhead new projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experience with plastic injection molding processes.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN and 5S.
• Understanding of tooling performance and GMP.
• Ability to conduct process root cause analysis.
