About the position

The Process / Chemical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing process systems and engineering projects, focusing on Bulk Gas delivery, Industrial Waste management, and ultrapure water systems. This role involves managing projects from programming through to construction close-out, ensuring compliance with industry standards while facilitating communication between clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage process systems including Bulk Gas delivery and UPW systems for multiple projects.
  • Act as Project Manager for engineering-prime projects, interfacing with clients and tracking project delivery schedules.
  • Develop and allocate fees for engineering work and track budgets throughout the design process.
  • Facilitate the design of engineering plans from preliminary stages through construction phases.
  • Perform analysis and design of industrial buildings/projects.
  • Conduct technical writing for engineering studies and Basis of Design documents.
  • Review and produce plans and specifications for compliance with industry codes and standards.
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients, multi-discipline teams, contractors, and governmental agencies.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 5-10 years of experience with process, waste, and ultrapure water systems in semiconductor, petrochemical, or bio/pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience as the primary engineering interface with multiple clients as a project manager or engineering lead.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the U.S. or ability to gain licensure within 1 year of start date.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, pipe stress software, Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interface.
