Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in productivity, waste reduction, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve operational performance, including designing and testing new processes, modifying existing equipment, and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality control) to troubleshoot production issues, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions.
  • May be involved in the selection and implementation of new equipment or automation systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies relevant to manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • BS Engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar).
  • Minimum 2-3 years process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including process analysis, design, and improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (typically 1 trip a month, 2-3 days at most).
