Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to accomplish technical assignments and projects.
• Assist in problem-solving to resolve short-term process issues.
• Provide cost and schedule updates on assigned projects.
• Lead projects to identify root causes of issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Recommend and implement solutions for long-term performance issues.
• Meet all Environmental, Safety and Health requirements.
• Modify existing process settings through experimental design.

Requirements

• Pursuing a 4-year engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related major.
• Availability for 10 weeks during Summer 2025 (May-August 2025).
• Graduation date of December 2025 or later.
• Interest in working for Corning, Inc after graduation.

Nice-to-haves

• At least one semester of core engineering coursework completed.
• GPA greater than 3.0.
