About The Position

The Process Engineering Technician role at Clarios involves working onsite at the Oconee Plant in West Union, SC. The technician will support project activities, assist PM Technicians, and participate in the development and evaluation of equipment and technical maintenance services. The position requires a strong background in process engineering and troubleshooting, with a focus on ensuring adherence to functional specifications during installations.

Requirements

• Two year technical degree or 5+ years of experience in a process technician role with shop floor experience.
• Experience working with equipment vendors, troubleshooting, RCCA processes, and PDCA processes.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree or commitment toward continuing education.
• Understanding of the application of Lean Six Sigma Tools.
• Injection Molding experience.

Responsibilities

• Project parallel and series activities, resource balancing, and critical path reporting via timeline roll ups.
• Provides support to PM Technicians.
• Participates in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans.
• Participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers.
• Participates in the final check out of new installations, including factory and site acceptance testing.
