About the position
The Process Excellence Lead will work closely with the Director of Indirect Procurement to drive organizational transformation initiatives within the Indirect Procurement organization. This role focuses on improving procurement processes, ensuring standardization, and enhancing the overall efficiency of operations. The individual will be responsible for identifying pain points, developing improvement plans, and executing initiatives that align with company policies and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Identify and drive improvement opportunities across the end-to-end Procurement process for the Indirect Procurement organization.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to identify pain points and develop improvement plans.
- Work with leadership to create business cases for investments required for recommended improvements.
- Oversee the execution of identified improvement initiatives.
- Create communication campaigns to inform the procurement team and stakeholders of changes and their anticipated impact.
- Address stakeholder feedback regarding user experience and program operations.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the adoption and impact of improvement initiatives.
- Support the Director of Indirect Procurement with ad hoc projects and team-wide strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Procurement, Marketing, Finance, or Business.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Procurement and/or Transformation roles.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in complex project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with the design and implementation of new operating models or ways of working.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change at scale.
- Operational or advisory experience across multiple functional aspects of procurement.
