As a Process Improvement Engineer, your primary focus will be on analyzing process reliability and implementing necessary changes to enhance it. This role requires you to write and modify batch sheets for assigned processes, ensuring that both new and existing products adhere to established procedures and maintain process reliability. You will also be responsible for improving the product capability (CPK) of assigned products, which involves investigating and implementing corrective actions for any products that are out of control. In addition to these responsibilities, you will develop corrective and preventive actions to address processing failures, particularly in areas such as off-quality products, late orders, and customer complaints. Generating cost improvement projects within your assigned process areas will be a key part of your role, and you will be expected to report on the progress of these projects periodically. Your contributions will be vital in driving efficiency and quality improvements within the manufacturing environment.
