About the position

As a Process Improvement Engineer at PepsiCo, you will be instrumental in optimizing plant performance and ensuring operational stability. This role involves analyzing losses, implementing improvement plans, and delivering innovative solutions to enhance processes across production, safety, and cost efficiency. You will lead initiatives that drive meaningful change and continuous improvement within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead loss analysis and develop true efficiency (TE) improvement plans, overseeing execution and tracking.
  • Facilitate Lean Six Sigma project management throughout the plant, driving transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee Centerline System management, including development, maintenance, and change initiatives.
  • Implement rapid changeover principles to reduce time and meet operational targets.
  • Provide detailed weekly, period, and year-to-date downtime analysis to support operational improvements.
  • Coach and train teams in operational issues and set short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Communicate cross-functionally to resolve operational issues and lead change with minimal impact.
  • Utilize reliability expertise to improve planned and unplanned downtime areas, driving variation down.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years in consumer products manufacturing with Lean Six Sigma experience, demonstrated by completing major improvement projects.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and action-oriented with a solid understanding of business finance principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with effective leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with experience in assessments, audits, and change management.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record preferred and U.S. work authorization required.
