About the position

The Process Improvement Program Manager (PIPM) is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing the continuous improvement of the division's processes and tools. This role involves developing strategies to enhance the functionality of the division's business registration system and chatbot, assisting with special projects, and performing various other duties as needed. The PIPM is expected to be intellectually curious, highly motivated, and committed to public service, with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary division contact for troubleshooting technical challenges with the eGov/IT Division.
  • Analyze business processes and develop detailed descriptions of application characteristics and functionalities.
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to meet business needs and achieve division objectives.
  • Provide training to users on applications and reporting tools.
  • Create test plans and conduct testing for new and updated systems.
  • Document processes related to current and new system applications and services.
  • Review and interpret data analysis to identify solutions for improving efficiency.
  • Identify service gaps and system errors, working with the eGov/IT Division to implement improvements.
  • Serve as level-two customer support for technical issues within application systems.
  • Maintain and enhance the Division's Chatbot application.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in a similar field.
  • Experience in a public agency or private industry related to process improvement or technology systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to speak additional languages is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $61,460 - $71,507 per year.
