About the position

The Process Improvement Technician role is focused on enhancing manufacturing processes within the Ingot department in Davenport, IA. This position involves implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, leading tactical projects aimed at improving safety and efficiency, and executing problem-solving initiatives to optimize production processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize material flow.
• Lead and support projects related to process improvements, capital projects, and reliability excellence.
• Execute problem-solving initiatives to address process and machine improvements.
• Work off-shifts as needed to support process improvement efforts.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
• 8 years of manufacturing experience.
• U.S. person status as defined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with aluminum casting processes.
• Proficiency in applying Lean Manufacturing principles in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong skills in business, technical analysis, and problem-solving.
