About the position

As a Process Integration Engineer at Qorvo Texas LLC, you will play a crucial role in the development and qualification of new technologies within the semiconductor industry. This position involves collaborating closely with the Research and Development (R&D) team to ensure that innovative solutions are effectively integrated into production processes. You will support the production ramp of new Bulk Acoustic Wave technologies, which are essential for various applications in consumer electronics, automotive, and healthcare sectors. Your expertise will be vital in assembling and leading cross-functional teams to tackle complex technical challenges and drive problem-solving activities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex data analyses and reporting summary results to stakeholders. You will define and support Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and Electrical yield improvement initiatives, ensuring that production processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Additionally, you will implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) strategies and drive improvements in process capability indices (Cpk), which are critical for maintaining competitive advantage in the semiconductor market. Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the R&D team during the development and qualification of new technologies
  • Supporting the production ramp of new Bulk Acoustic Wave technologies
  • Assembling and leading cross-functional teams and leading investigations and problem-solving activities
  • Performing complex data analyses and reporting summary results
  • Defining and supporting Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) & Electrical yield improvement
  • Implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) strategy and driving Cpk improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 or more years of relevant work experience
  • Hands-on experience in at least one key semiconductor process area (etch, photolithography, CMP, PVD/CVD)
  • Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
  • Capacity for working with minimal supervision in complex projects with considerable responsibility
  • Strong working knowledge in characterization techniques (STEM, AFM, XRD)
  • Experience in technical problem solving using data analytics and Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Programming and scripting experience a plus (e.g., MATLAB, R, Python, Perl, web tools, or similar)
